Children & ZAHN
Who Can Use ZAHN?
ZAHN is intended for users aged 13 or older. This is to ensure compliance with child-safety and data-protection laws, and to keep the platform safe and appropriate for all users.
Why 13+?
Under GDPR and other youth-protection regulations, apps that process personal data — especially location data — must have strict safeguards when it comes to minors.
Setting our minimum age at 13 helps ensure:
Proper handling of personal and location data
Appropriate consent procedures
A safe environment for all users
If You’re a Parent or Guardian
We believe in empowering families with transparency. If your child (13+) uses ZAHN:
Talk to them about how Bubbles, Spots, and location-sharing work
Encourage them to only connect with people they genuinely trust
Remind them that they can pause sharing anytime with Ghost Mode
We do not provide parental monitoring tools. ZAHN is built for mutual safety, not surveillance.
If a User Under 13 Signs Up
If we become aware that someone under 13 is using ZAHN, we will:
Close the account
Delete all associated data
This isn’t punitive, it’s to comply with legal requirements and keep young children protected.
Staying Safe Online
We encourage all young users (13+) to:
Only join Bubbles with people they trust
Reach out to a parent, guardian, or trusted adult if anything makes them uncomfortable
Contact emergency services if they feel in immediate danger. ZAHN is a support tool, not an emergency response service
