What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Apps use similar technologies, such as software development kits (SDKs) and device identifiers. The law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, or PECR) says we must ask for your consent before using any that are not strictly necessary.

We do not use advertising identifiers and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Managing your choices Key
- Website: when you first visit, our banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link at the bottom of each page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- App: by December 2026, we will ask at sign-up whether you agree to analytics and crash reports, and add a switch in Settings so you can change your choice at any time. You can also turn off notifications in your phone settings, and reset your device identifiers.
Emails and our newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter or beta programme on our website, we will only send you emails you asked for. We use a double opt-in: you confirm your subscription by email. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Our email provider, Squarespace, tells us whether our emails are opened and which links are clicked, so we can improve them.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if we change the cookies or technologies we use.
